Additional Privacy Notice for the YOUniverse

The YOUniverse, which is available at https://enter.youniverse.berlin/ (hereinafter “YOUniverse-Website”), is a virtual fan experience platform of Universal Music GmbH. You can enter the YOUniverse via desktop, smartphone or tablet.

On the YOUniverse-Website we use the Mixpanel technology of Mixpanel, Inc., One Front Street, 28th floor San Francisco, CA 94111, USA (hereinafter “Mixpanel”).

By using Mixpanel, the number of website visits to the YOUniverse-Website is recorded on a purely anonymous basis and in aggregated form. In this context, no data is stored on your terminal device and no device-related information is evaluated. An user-ID is also not created. 

The purpose of using Mixpanel is to further develop and optimize the user experience and to be able to evaluate the success of the events on YOUniverse. 

The legal basis is Art.25 II No.2 TDDDG.

On the YOUniverse website you have the possibility to communicate with all other users via the (public) chat. For our own security purposes, we store the chat history for up to 7 days.
