Niila | Video | Restless Heart

Mit “Restless Heart” veröffentlichte der Folk-Pop-Musiker Niila bereits Ende Februar 2016 die erste Single aus seinem Debüt-Album "Gratitude". Er widmet sich im Song der weitverbreiteten Frage, ob eine feste Partnerschaft genau das Richtige ist, oder ob er lieber weiterhin als ungebundener Freigeist die Verlockungen des Lebens genießen soll. Der Refrain: “You told me, you give this restless heart a home”, ist umrahmt von Trompeten, fröhlichem Pfeifen und einer antreibenden Baseline. Und all das wird im bildgewaltigen Clip aufgegriffen, für den sich ein Landsmann des Musikers verantwortlich zeigt. 

Als Regisseur des Clips holte sich Niila Joonas Kenttämies – kurz Joonas Kent – ans Set. Er produzierte in der Vergangenheit in erster Linie Musik-Videos finnischer Künstler, arbeitet aber auch in der Werbung und dreht Filme über Snowboarding. Für das “Restless Heart”-Musik-Video zog es ihn ins afrikanische Namibia – und damit in eine spektakuläre Kulisse, wie ihr hier im Video sehen könnt.
