GRAMMY®-NOMINATED ARTIST ZHU UNVEILS NEW SINGLE, “CHANGES”
NORTH AMERICAN FALL HEADLINE RUN INCLUDES SOLD-OUT SHOWS AT BROOKLYN MIRAGE AND HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM
Today,
ZHU released his new single,
“Changes,” via Astralwerks. With his distinctive vocals atop dramatic piano accompaniment, the GRAMMY®-nominated artist reflects on the impact being in the spotlight has had on him. As he considers the changes life inevitably brings, the song takes flight, soaring and dipping with abandon.
ZHU recorded
“Changes” in his hometown of San Francisco at the landmark
Grace Cathedral, which traces its roots back to the California Gold Rush and has a rich history of involvement in social justice and the arts. Listen to

Last week, ZHU kicked off a European/UK tour, which includes two sold-out nights at Lafayette in London (August 3 & 4). On September 14, ZHU will launch a North American headline tour – his first in five years. Due to the overwhelming demand for tickets, The Grace Tour will now include three nights at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium and three shows at Brooklyn Mirage in NYC, with four of the six shows already sold out.
See below for full itinerary.
The North American headline tour, produced by Live Nation, will feature special guests
Channel Tres (DJ Set) at the Brooklyn and San Francisco dates,

Like the recent “
Revelations,”
which saw
ZHU team up with
Devault and
BabyJake,
“Changes” is from
ZHU’s upcoming album. Additional album details will be revealed soon. Upon release, “Revelations” earned a spot in
Rolling Stone’s roundup of “All The Songs You Need To Know This Week.”
This Song Is Sick said, “BabyJake takes the vocal reins to start things off while ZHU and Devault create a melancholic, spacious world. ZHU lends his signature vocals around the halfway point before the dark, synth-forward finale.”
We Rave You noted, “The vocals are smooth and silky while offering a bit of mystery and intrigue with every line. The track itself is a haunting journey as well…” View the official video for
“Revelations”

ZHU recently teamed up with L.A.-based R&B -pop duo
Emotional Oranges on their latest release, “Not Like This.” Listen
HERE. He also collaborated with the video game franchise
Mortal Kombat 1, contributing the original track
“Fatal (Mortal Kombat 1),” which is set as the backdrop of all gameplay matches. Listen
here. He previewed his
NIGHTDAY fashion line, designed in collaboration with
Emmy Slattery, during his 2022 EDC Las Vegas set. The name for the collection, which will soon be available at select retailers, was inspired by
ZHU’s massively successful debut
EP, which included the GRAMMY-nominated hit “Faded.”
Billboard noted,
“It’s an accomplishment for an artist to partner with a swanky fashion house, yet a next-level achievement is unlocked by designing a collection oneself, from inspiration to garment.”
About Astralwerks
Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, Astralwerks is America’s preeminent home for groundbreaking artists. Founded in New York City in 1993 by Caroline Records staffers who recognized the promise of the nascent electronic/ambient scene, the label has also launched the careers of indie, alternative and experimental artists. The first studio albums from The Chemical Brothers, Halsey, Swedish House Mafia, Empire of the Sun, Alison Wonderland, Phoenix, and Porter Robinson, among many others, were all released by Astralwerks in the U.S., fueling a sense of shared discovery with fans.
As a testament to this visionary approach, Astralwerks has amassed 30 GRAMMY® nominations, taken home six GRAMMY Awards and had historic releases from the likes of Brian Eno, Kraftwerk, Fatboy Slim, David Guetta, deadmau5, Eric Prydz, The Avalanches, ILLENIUM and many more. Now based at the iconic Capitol Records Tower in Hollywood, CA, the label is driven by a scalable, independent, and global-thinking ethos that has recently drawn such artists as Alesso, Bob Moses, Chris Lake, SG Lewis, Surf Mesa, and ZHU to its roster, and led to the launch of Astralwerks Asia. The label has also released such massive singles as the RIAA-certified 6x Platinum “Happier” by Marshmello + Bastille, “Piece Of Your Heart” by MEDUZA & Goodboys, which is certified Platinum and received a GRAMMY nomination, and the Gold certified “Losing It” by FISHER.
